Emerald & Forgotten Coast Adventures

We provide hands-on opportunities to learn the history and marine ecology of the Florida Panhandle through memorable and life-changing experiences.

Our 5th graders had an amazing learning experience at Emerald & Forgotten Coast Adventures! They participated in hands-on, standards-based Science activities that were led by incredible volunteers. We enjoyed a beautiful hike on the nature trail too! We appreciate all you did to help make this such a great day for our students. Thank you!

Emerald & Forgotten Coast Adventures gave our 5th grade students the most wonderful outdoor hands-on learning experience at Camp Helen State Park. Students learned about coastal dune lake ecology while looking at zooplankton under microscopes, they observed invertebrates in touch tanks, used binoculars to observe and identify birds, and learned how to test the water quality. The volunteers were knowledgeable and very good with our students. Thank you for the amazing experience!
